Privacy

Your email address shouldn't belong to your email provider.

Note acts as a forwarding layer between the public address you share and the private inbox you actually read. Change providers, hand out different addresses, or shut one down — the mail keeps arriving where you decide.

What we commit to.

No advertising based on email content

We do not build advertising profiles from the mail passing through Note.

No selling personal information

Your account data and destinations are not sold or rented to third parties.

Minimal account information

An address, a verified destination and a verified phone number. That's the account.

You control every alias

Disable, re-point or delete a forwarding address at any moment, without support tickets.

Transparent privacy policy

Plain language, no hidden clauses, changes announced before they take effect.

Delete aliases or your account

Deleting an alias stops forwarding immediately. Deleting your account removes them all.

What we don't claim

Forwarded mail passes through our systems in order to be delivered, so we do not claim that messages can never be read or that Note is zero-knowledge. We keep what we handle to the minimum needed for delivery, abuse prevention and legal obligations, and we tell you exactly what that is.
